I booked on behalf of Bride and Groom - I really enjoyed the Ceilidh session led by Brant, the instructions were clear and his style was light, humorous and inclusive. Even if there were other distractions during the Wedding Party, he has been able to attract people to dance and adjust the program so that everybody had a nice time and could connect with each other in such a joyous way!

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Guests often tell me how much they appreciate the way I guide the dances clearly (I am a dance teacher), keeping the vibe fun and inclusive, and help turn the dance floor into one of the most memorable parts of their big day.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I’ve had the pleasure of catering to large scale events, including performances at the Universal Hall Findhorn in the Scottish Highlands and internationally in Brazil, where I headlined the Encontro Braziliaria Festival. There, I brought a custom circle & ceilidh experience to an enthusiastic crowd of 156. I have also done many local ceilidhs & weddings

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Brandon Mcphee Jimmy shand Lenhard Brown Proclaimers and many others

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Encontro Braziliaria - headlined - 2023 Findhorn Sacred Dance Festival - 2021/25 Moray Art Centre 2020/2021 St Leonards Church - Little local ceilidhs 2023/24 Forres Town Hall - Fundraiser - 2025

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

This is usually not required for the types of events I offer.

How much time do you need to set up?

I’ll need about an hour to set up. Once everything is ready, I can provide a curated playlist to set the mood and get your guests in the spirit before the ceilidh dancing begins.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are shaped by countless events and a deep understanding of what gets guests dancing and creates an unforgettable atmosphere. That said, I’m always happy to chat and tailor the music to make sure it’s the perfect fit for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I’ll bring music and a headset that connects directly to the sound system. I can also provide a speaker if needed. My aim is to create an engaging atmosphere and encourage open conversation to help your event run smoothly and successfully.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I’m happy to do this, however, it incurs a small surcharge of £20 to cover the time spent learning and rehearsing the new repertoire, as well as purchasing any necessary backing tracks.
