Christine Schneider Duo

Christine and Ollie together have a special ability for turning heads and setting an irresistibly pleasant atmosphere with timeless Jazz, Soul and Pop renditions that are at times emotive, other times electrifying, but always remarkably skilful. French-Brazilian vocalist Christine began her musical training aged 6, and has a wealth of experience performing in bands and for different artistic projects in multiple genres. She took an interest in Jazz age 16 and studied the vocalists she admired (Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald) by learning complex skat solos by heart for fun. Today, her singing career has seen her perform in venues across London, from the coolest bars of Camden to private residences in London’s most exclusive boroughs. Notable performances include her stint on The World (private residential superyacht), performances in Mayfair (The Ned, Mount St Restaurant, Soho House, The Ivy) and monthly residencies for Accor Hotels. Ollie Haycock is a North London-based guitarist from Chichester. Ollie holds a First Class Hons BA degree in Jazz from Middlesex University, and has had a decade long guitar career working as a session musician for various bands, artists and musical projects, alongside cruise ship contracts and pit work for musical theatre. Today, alongside his busy schedule as a guitarist for several up and coming artists in London, Ollie teaches Jazz and Neo-Soul guitar to advanced students in his studio. Ollie has worked with many well-known artists including Lola Young, Dave Stewart, Laura White, Donaeo and Nubyah Garcia, and has performed as part of the house band for one of the most famous London Jazz clubs, Ronnie Scott’s.
