Dan studied Classical piano at Birmingham Conservatoire and then Jazz piano in Brussels. He is at home reading music and playing by ear. He teaches these skills at the Royal Northern College of Music and is a well known player on the North West Jazz Scene. Dan has played at most of the Wedding and Function venues in the area. His versatility makes him the perfect choice for your background pianist whether you want some Bach to walk down the aisle, some swinging jazz for your drinks reception or some gentle Bossa Nova for your meal.

Dan played at our house for our Wedding anniversary party. He added a touch of class to our evening and is a brilliant improviser and pianist as well as being a nice guy. I'd definitely recommend him to others.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

As long as you give me some notice and I can work around it, there shouldn't be a problem and I like to be as flexible as possible.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I would put some suitable background music through my speakers whilst not playing.

How much time do you need to set up?

10 minutes.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes! Provided that it has been tuned recently and is in good condition. If there is any doubt about this, I'm happy to look at photos, make and model and or speak to the venue beforehand to decide this.
