Energy are a professional, established, exciting, and courteous band with the highest quality musicianship, sound, and lighting. Energy’s sound is exciting, powerful and dynamic, creating a brilliant party atmosphere. Our passion, experience and versatility enable us to recreate and perform all your favourite musical styles. Our singer, Sharon, was in the Eurovision Finals in 2006, and other band members were signed to Island Records as part of a professional band. From our infectiously bopping rendition of ’Ballroom Blitz’, to the epic, punchy, anthemic ‘Sweet Child Of Mine’, to our funk fuelled take on ‘Uptown Funk’, you’ll be boogying and foot stomping all night long. Our love of music and insistence on creating the perfect party atmosphere is striking every time we perform. Sparkling, crystal-clear vocals, authentic lead guitar dripping with feel, explosive rock-solid drumming, and bass guitar bursting with funk and soul yield an unmistakable, distinct chemistry. I've had the pleasure of working with the very talented Energy Function Band and what a band they are! They sure know how to get the party started, Sharon has the most outstanding voice! I very much recommend these guys for your event, you will not be able to stop dancing, the energy the bring is electric (I guess they're not called Energy Function Band for nothing). It's been an absolute pleasure and look forward to seeing you guys again soon!

All prices include:Powerful 3000 watt PA sound system with supurb sub, all instruments and vocals mic'd up. Full lighting: T-Bar lights, floor spot lights and laser lighting. Filler/Background music if required. Non stop timeless classic floor fillers with medleys and segways with over 40 songs per performance. Set up from 5pm or after. Finish time no later than midnight. Well presented, friendly and helpful band members. Tabled prices are based on bookings within the Norwich area. Performances that are more than 20 miles from Norwich, have an arrival time of before 5pm and/or finish after midnight are likely to incur extra costs. Travel time of more than 1 hour, or more than 30 miles away will likely incur an extra charge of approx £250. Please note that this is a guide only and other factors might effect our pricing. Prices are based on Encore's suggestion that an hours performance can include a 10/15 minute break, so a tabled 1 hour performance is a minimum of 45mins live music. We typically perform 2 x 1 hours 'non-stop' (with no breaks) live music.

Our most popular and recommended option, offering the highest quality musicianship, sound, lighting and presentation. For Venues Small/Medium/Large Line Up - 4 piece band Arrival Time - 5pm (an earlier arrival time may incur an extra nominal charge) Set up Time - 1.5 to 2 hours Lighting - 1 digital LED T-Bar system (with 4 spot lights), up to 6 floor standing digital LED spots, various additional laser and tube lighting. Sound - Fully digital sound system amplifying all vocals and instruments. Performance - 2 x 1 Hours Filler/Background Music - Provided Finish Time - Midnight (later finish times may incur an extra nominal charge)

If you love what we do but would like a slightly bigger band we can add another - well known to us tried and tested - singer to our line-up. We're 100% confident in our standard 4 piece line up but if you want that little bit more to look at and listen to on stage this might be the package for you.

We have performed at most of the premier Wedding/Function Venues in Norfolk including Kimberley Hall, Elms Barn, Hunters Hall, Southward Hall, Sprowston Manor

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We enjoy performing all of the bands and artists we cover including Queen, Dua Lipa, ABBA, Elton John, Earth Wind & Fire, Walk The Moon, The Killers, Sister Sledge, and many others.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Heart FM during their Great Yarmouth summer extravaganza.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes, Sharon is an integral part of the band. Barring exceptional circumstances Sharon will be present on every booking. All band members are permanent and should be available on every booking. Where unavoidable we will use a fully rehearsed tried and tested Dep musician.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our Standard line-up is: Lead Vocalist Guitarist Bassist & Backing Vocalist Drummer & Backing Vocalist We can also perform as a 2 or a three piece with the missing instruments being played through backing track. We can also add another male or female singer to our line up if this is important to you. We do however recommend our standard 4 piece line up.,

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know. Should arrival and finish times change significantly a further nominal cost may be incurred.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Music from a cd player/iPod or laptop can be played through our sound system at any point from when we’re set up and sound checked. Effectively providing a free DJ service enabling you to party and dance even when we’re not performing.

How much time do you need to set up?

Energy requires approx 1.5 hours to be set up from the time we have loaded in, and a further 30 to 60mins to get changed and be ready to perform.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Clients are welcome to request that we perform certain songs or medley's from our list and we will do our best to include them. We do however have extensive experience in what sets work best, with the necessary ebb and flow and combination of tracks to make the best evenings entertainment.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes. We use our own brand new high quality fully digital sound system for consistency and reliability, we are sensitive to the requirements of our clients and the venues where we perform. We always provide a comprehensive LED and Laser light system. Your quote will include this cost.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes. Given enough notice we will be able to learn a first dance for you.
