I am a Folk Pop/Singer-Songwriter originally from rural Wales and now studying music in Manchester. I started learning guitar when I was 7 years old, with already so much musical inclination. From there I went on to get a scholarship at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (as part of the junior conservatoire), enhancing my classical guitar and singing for 4 years. This left me with a wide knowledge of how to sing professionally and Grade 8 Classical guitar. During this time, I was also at college full time studying Music Performance and Technology. At the end of this I released a debut EP which was received very well and awarded me with a Distinction at college. Some of the songs were then played on Radio 2, which was a massive achievement. I am a bubbly, kind individual who loves sharing her music with the world - I love performing. I have been busking since I was 13, which then started getting me gigs, along with many open mic nights. I've played at lots of restaurant gigs, festivals, charity events, and have been asked to play weddings in the near future.

We have been lucky enough to have know Francesca for a few years. This very able and talented individual has played at our restaurant on a number of occasions including Ukraine fundraising events. A beautiful voice and a broad range of ability.

We booked Francesca to play at the Attic Theatre in Newcastle Emlyn and were delighted. She did a mix of covers and originals which were real crowd pleasers. She sings and plays beautifully and is an incredibly poised and professional musician.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I get lots of compliments from clients on how much emotion I can produce through my singing and playing, alongside this, I am always on time, kind and helpful.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have played in bars, and restaurants, book signing events, festivals, theatre stages, busking on the streets, classical concerts.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I feel inspired by, Noah Kahan, Lizzy McApline, Simon and Garfunkel, Norah Jones, I get lots of comparisons to Joni Mitchell. I also try styles from Phoebe Bridgers, Hozier etc...

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I would say that my University gigs would be my 'highest profile gigs' so far, as these have been performed in very high standard places, on large stages doing solo performances in front of large audiences. However I have a lot of other less 'high profile' experience that I think has been so fun, and taught me a lot.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I try my best to be flexible, if the timings change, I would appreciate some notice of at least a few hours, so that I can arrange my transport and songlist to better suit you.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

If I either have a PA equipment set up there for me, or bring my own amp, I can plug in my phone and play a DJ service if required. This would be an additional £50

How much time do you need to set up?

It depends on the place and how much is required to bring. But I can normally set up in about 20-25 minutes tops

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

You can give me some general direction on genre and how upbeat/slow the songs are. I am happy to video call and talk through what you want though. However I'd need a fair amount of time to reschedule the songs and practice

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I am very happy to bring all the equipment, will be an extra, small fee to bring my own though, since I don't have a car and would have to get an Uber.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list, I am happy to consider learning new ones for you. however this would be an extra £10 per new song as I'd have to spend time learning and practicing it.
