Verified profile

Galileo Projekt was originally formed in Brixton, London, around 2002, born from the creative collaboration of four musicians with a shared passion for Soul, Funk, Jazz, Rock, and Blues. The band quickly found its groove, performing at various venues and clubs across London and Canterbury, drawing audiences with their eclectic and groove-heavy sound. Now, three of the original members have come together to revive the project — this time with a fresh and exciting direction. The new Galileo Projekt fuses their signature musical roots with a more Reggae- and Ska-oriented sound, bringing vibrant energy and vintage flavour to a contemporary audience. Musical influences include: James Taylor Quartet, Jackie Mittoo, Harry J Allstars, Freddie Hubbard, Herbie Hancock, Trovajoli, Piero Piccioni, Servidio, and more — blending deep grooves with cinematic soul and jazzy sophistication. Whether on stage or in the studio, Galileo Projekt continues to evolve — with rhythm, soul, and a dedication to timeless groove at its core.
