Kris T Reeder has been recognised as 'one of 25 of the artists who have engineered the cultural transformation of British jazz over the past four decades' in a seminal book on British Jazz by David Burke (Giant Steps: Diverse Journeys in British Jazz - 2021). He is featured alongside the likes of: Courtney Pine, Dennis Rollins, Tony Kofi and Shabaka Hutchings. Significant industry experience across UK and Europe in numerous ensembles. Highlights include: performing with world famous jazz trumpeter Derek Watkins (member of James Last Orchestra) and live on BBC TV. Over 20 years experience as a Professional Jazz Bass trombonist. Signed to Orchard Music (part of Sony Music Entertainment). Training: Royal Academy of Music, London (Scholar) (Teacher: Bob Hughes FRAM).
