Guitarist
Manchester

Fijian-born, New Zealand-raised, and now based in Manchester, Lepani is an independent eclectic pop artist bringing soulful vocals and genre-blending flair to live stages across the UK. A one-man band armed with just his guitar and voice, Lepani delivers heartfelt through to upbeat acoustic sets that move effortlessly between R&B, pop, and country—covering classics from the 50s, 60s, and 90s to today’s hits. Coming from a deeply musical family, Lepani sees music as his first language—his way of interpreting the world. Drawing inspiration from artists like Elvis, Daft Punk, and Jon Bellion, his performances reflect a unique blend of soul, storytelling, and infectious energy. He recently played a busy, high-energy gig at Ape & Apple in Manchester, drawing in a vibrant crowd and creating a memorable live atmosphere. He’s available for sets up to 3 hours, with custom setlists tailored to each venue or event, whether it’s laid-back acoustic vibes or a more upbeat, sing-along set. Fully self-contained with a professional PA system, he makes setup quick and hassle-free for any event. Lepani’s career highlights include opening for Stan Walker on a nine-city New Zealand tour, performing at Jim Beam Homegrown Festival (Wellington, NZ), and featuring on VT1S’s chart-topping single 'Lauti Au', which he also performed live in front of a sold-out crowd in Suva, Fiji. He’s also a Pacific Music Award winner and a former Aotearoa (NZ) Music Awards nominee, recognised for his soulful vocal style and genre-crossing artistry. In 2025, Lepani is taking bold steps as an independent artist, having already released 6 singles this year, and expanding his presence in the UK music scene. Perfect for pubs, cafes, private events, and festivals, Lepani brings warmth, versatility, and a truly global sound to every stage he steps on.

Lepani and his band played a 3 hour set for our wedding in October 2024 and they helped create the best night of dancing which was just what we wanted. Lepani also came to our venue with us and met with the co-ordinator to ensure they had everything for them. This was one less job we had to do so greatly appreciated. We had a wide mix of guests and they catered for every music genre there, country, pop, r&b, rock, old school, everything. He even played his own music which we loved. They were very friendly and professional and couldn't recommend them enough. Our dance floor was packed the whole time and we had comments from guests that it was like a concert. A night we will never forget. Thanks Lepani and the band xx

Lepani is a highly talented and professional performer with a strong background in live music in New Zealand. During his time in Auckland, he built a solid reputation as an engaging pop artist, regularly performing at bars and venues with a mix of well-known pop hits and his own original material. His sets are known for their seamless flow, incorporating back-to-back songs and creative mashups that keep audiences captivated throughout the performance. Lepani has an impressive musical IQ and a strong vocal range, making his solo performances dynamic and versatile. He’s equally comfortable working with a full band, showing great adaptability and collaboration. Notably, he headlined a ticketed concert at Rombus Café & Bar that attracted over 140 attendees—a clear testament to his ability to draw a crowd based on the strength of his personal brand. What sets Lepani apart is not only his musical talent but also his professionalism and understanding of live production. He independently managed the sound and lighting for his concert, showcasing his technical knowledge and attention to detail. His stage presence, energy, and ability to build a set, from laid-back intros to groovy singalongs and high-energy dance finales to ensure a memorable experience for any audience. Lepani is a driven and passionate performer with the skillset and charisma to succeed in any live music environment. He would be a great addition to any lineup, and I have no doubt he’ll continue to thrive as he pursues music full-time in the UK.
