Nockles/Jones Jazz is an innovative duo comprising two of London’s most dynamic jazz musicians: trumpeter Dylan Jones and bassist Hamish Nockles Moore. Both artists bring a wealth of experience and a rich tapestry of collaborations to their partnership, blending traditional jazz elements with contemporary influences. Dylan Jones Dylan Jones is a prominent figure in the UK jazz scene, renowned for his exceptional trumpet playing and diverse musical collaborations. As a co-founder of the acclaimed ensemble Ezra Collective, he has been instrumental in shaping the band’s distinctive sound, which fuses jazz with Afrobeat, hip-hop, and grime influences. His tenure with Ezra Collective has seen performances at prestigious venues and festivals, earning them critical acclaim and a dedicated following. Beyond his work with Ezra Collective, Jones has actively participated in various musical projects, including the genre-blending group PYJÆN.
