I've been a violinist for almost as long as I can remember! I fell in love with playing the violin and the magical sound it creates. I went to Reading University where I studied German & Music before specialising in Music. After university I studied with some incredibly teachers to gain further skills. Over the years I played with a number of groups before setting up my own successful group - South Downs Strings. It's been a fantastic journey so far with some really memorable performances in some incredible venues. As a group we play for approximately 100 performances each year. I've learnt a lot about what it takes to be a successful musician. All the right skills - yes! All the right equipment - yes! An understanding of clients and their events - absolutely! It's this wealth of experience I bring with me to all the events I play for.

Accordi String Quartet played at our wedding at Hartsfield Manor recently and without doubt they were one of the best features of the day. They are the nicest people you can meet. Leading up to the wedding we had a few conversations with Sheraine about playlists and she put us at ease and took all of the stress out of music planning providing some superb recommendations. Our ceremony was beautiful and the gorgeous music had me in tears before we even walked into the room. They timed it perfectly with our walk down the aisle. Afterwards the gang played outside under an old oak tree - it looked amazing and really provided a central feature to gather around. They played all of our favourites and composed some ones that they knew we’d like - songs from LaLa Land and The Greatest Showman - nearly died when they came on - LOVED IT!!!! If you have any doubts about what music to have at your wedding then I promise that you’ll be so happy if you chose Accordi String Quartet. Thanks again for a wonderful day xx

Do you have different line-up options?

If you would like to book more than a soloist, I can help with this. I can also offer a Duo, Trio, Quartet or whatever size ensemble your budget allows.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Just let me know as soon as possible and I'll do my best to fit in with your updated timings.

How much time do you need to set up?

Typically 30 minutes.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes, my setlist is just a small sample available. Let me know the songs you would like to be played at your event and I'll be happy to add them into my set list.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes: instrument and PA. Sometimes I might request a chair but most venues have a spare chair!
