I have played in an Irish duo for many years as well as with a busy and long established Norfolk based ceilidh or barn dance band. I'm a true "mandoholic" and I love to play whenever I can. So performing solo with just my own recorded backing tracks, drones and percussion gives me more opportunities to play at all sorts of different events that wouldn't otherwise be possible.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes no problem. I have a playlist of popular Irish and Scottish music which is in keeping with the music I play.

How much time do you need to set up?

30 minutes is enough but a bit longer if access or parking is an issue.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works for each event. However, I'm very happy to chat and make sure we find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I bring everything I need from minimal equipment when playing totally acoustically to a suitable PA for larger or more noisy events.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I have a very comprehensive repertoire of Irish and Scottish tunes to choose from but I'm happy to discuss anything you may wish to add if it is key to the success of the event.
