The Bootlegs Band consists of 4 pro musicians that have played a 1000 gigs together over the last 20 years. Our speciality is to get people to dance, sing along and bring positive energy. We have a very large repertoire of songs, every style. The band makes sure the event is fun and successful. Our mission is to entertain! We play in music clubs, theatres, festivals, private parties, Birthdays, weddings, corporate events and will give you a night to remember. A group of girlfriends and I went to the Angel & Crown Richmond and never had a night like it. It was amazing! The place was absolutely packed out and The Bootlegs Band played (for 3 hours!). Every song they played got the most extraordinary reaction and people danced and sang along all the way through. It really was the most incredible atmosphere. The band brought so much fun, energy and they are extraordinary musicians. They played so many ad hoc requests too! Can't remember this much fun on a night out!

We were at the "Cars and Guitars Festival" at the West End Social Club yesterday. They had several bands and I was blown away by the Bootlegs Band! They had everybody dancing from the very first song to the last! They have so many great songs, really engage with the audience, are fun and have real magnetism! Amazing band!!

People comment on our energy, friendliness, that we get everybody to sing along, dance and - essentially - have a fantastic event

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have played at a large number of pubs, clubs, theatres, festivals, stadiums (Amex, Twickenham) and countless private parties and corporate events

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

A lot of the artists from the 1960s and 70s

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Amex Stadium, Brighton, warming people cup for a football match. It was pre game and we had about 20.000 people at that stage. Amazing experience

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes, we are a 4 piece band, vocals, guitar, bass, drums. We also play as an acoustic duo. We can add musicians or instruments on request

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £100.”

How much time do you need to set up?

We need 1 hour to set up and sound check

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yes, we have wireless microphones and guitars and are mobile

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of X by Y space to perform

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc
