Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes - our basic line up is a three piece (Sousa, guitar and trumpet/cornet) but we can configure the band to include additional violin and/or clarinet and if required, drums. We have a large roster of talent that we can draw on in arranging a larger line up, so please don't hesitate to enquire if this is of interest.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know and we will do our best to accommodate provided we have sufficient advance notice.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can provide recorded background music in between sets if required to do so.

How much time do you need to set up?

We are able to set up in around 30 minutes if performing acoustically, and in 60 minutes if PA is required. This will depend on the nature of the event, attendance and the size of the venue. For a small drinks event or background music, acoustic performance is appropriate.

Can you roam around while you perform?

We can do some roaming if required.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

The set list provided is to give a typical flavour of the type of songs we perform. If you have any specific requests from the era/style we'll be pleased to try and accommodate. We do not cover modern songs in a vintage style, but we can make some limited expectations for first dances and so on.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Given sufficient notice we can learn songs not present in our set list. Many songs of the era and style may already be in our general repertoire. For special songs that don't fall into our usual repertoire there is a fee of £30 per song for arrangement and rehearsal. If you have any queries please don't hesitate to contact us!
