Ceilidh Callers for hire in Kent
Latest reviews of our Ceilidh Callers in Kent

"We had a FANTASTIC experience with John and we would highly recommend him! He was the ceilidh caller for our wedding (small group of 25 people) and everyone loved him. He was full of energy and jokes, explained the dances very well and kept everyone dancing for over an hour and a half (with appropriate breaks). Most of our guests were delighted to have tried a ceilidh for the first time ever and everyone said they had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the way John got everyone dancing. Communication before the event was also very good, he kindly answered all our questions and he was punctual on the day. We highly recommend you hire John for your special event, you'll have an amazing time!"

Can any ceilidh caller play my favourite song?
Professional ceilidh callers will often take requests, but you will need to give them plenty of notice. Please also keep in mind that ceilidh callers may ask for an small additional fee to prepare songs that aren't already on their song list. You can view the ceilidh caller's song list on their Encore profile.
How much time do ceilidh callers take to set up?
Your ceilidh caller will usually arrive about an hour or so before their performance begins to set up and get settled before they start playing. To avoid any delays, make sure the performance space is ready for the ceilidh caller prior to their arrival.
My venue has asked for the performer’s PLI & PAT inspection certificates. What are these?
PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our ceilidh callers are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our ceilidh callers will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
