Iris Fearing

Hi, I’m Iris Fearing, an 20-year-old singer/songwriter from the UK. As an artist, music has always been a way to express myself in a way that can connect to anyone. My journey in music started when I was 7 years old when I fell in love with musical theatre. At that age, I joined a stage school and found that my happy place was on stage. I feel more alive on stage than I feel anywhere else. Then at 12, I joined Tring Park School for the Performing Arts to further my musical education. I soon realised I wanted to start telling my own stories, so I began writing my own music. At first, it was just lyrics but that soon grew to guitar and piano, and now writing and producing my own music. While studying at Tring Park, I did regular performances to large audiences at the Markova Theatre. My previous performances include Bush Hall and The Ritz in London. After graduating in July of 2023 I recorded and released my debut EP ‘Beyond Us’ which is available on all major streaming Platforms. Music has always been my escape and I want my music to be that kind of escape for others. I write about either my own experiences or snippets of stories I have heard throughout my life. I have always wanted to connect to people through my music as music has always been the light for me and I want to be able to inspire people like so many musicians inspired me and my music.
