"If you haven't already booked Matt then you most certainly need to!! Matt played alongside our DJ at our wedding last week, and he was INCREDIBLE. Ourselves and guests haven't stopped raving about his wonderful playing. Matt contacted our DJ independently which left a job off our list which was so helpful amongst the wedding planning. What are the most popular styles for a saxophonist to play?
Saxophonists are very versatile, and they can play across a dizzyingly diverse array of genres. These genres includes: jazz, funk, pop, R&B, blues, reggae, ska, and soul/Motown.
Will I need to provide the saxophonist with any equipment?
In most cases, saxophonists will come fully equipped with a PA system and microphone; they're able to set up just about anywhere (so long as it's close to a power socket!). The only things you'll need to provide is a seat for breaks, and enough light for them to manoeuvre.
