"Gaynor was a wonderful part of our wedding ceremony and provided the perfect atmosphere for our intimate church wedding. Gaynor was great at communicating with us on the lead up to the day and played our requested music on the violin beautifully! Thank you so much Gaynor for making our day extra special. "
Olivia hired Gaynor Sutcliffe for a Wedding (available in Lancaster)

"Gaynor made our ceremony and reception perfect! From the very start of the booking, Gaynor was so easy to talk to. Learning some songs for us wasn’t any trouble (one of which was rather peculiar too!) and Gaynor even sent us a little video of her practicing my wife’s aisle walk song! On the day, Gaynor was incredibly professional and my goodness can she play that violin well! All of our guests were blown away with how good the music was, and Gaynor even tailored her choices perfectly for our crowd and vibe. Gaynor, we can’t thank you enough, seriously. You filled our wedding with the most fantastic music that we will both remember for the rest of our married lives! All the best, Harry and Charlie."

FAQs about hiring Wedding Violinists in Lancaster
Take the stress out of hiring musicians with Encore
What kind of music can a violinist play?
Pretty much anything! Violinists will usually be most comfortable playing classical music, but that doesn't mean they won't be able whip up fresh renditions of your favourite pop, folk, or jazz tunes. Best to check first before asking them to play krautrock though.
Will I need to provide the violinist with any equipment?
Other than a seat for breaks, probably not. If your venue is small, they will likely play unamplified. All they'll need to make the music happen is their violin, a bow, and a receptive audience (oh, and probably a music stand). If your venue is larger, they should be able to provide amplification.
Do violinists normally play with backing tracks?
It depends. If you only want the violinist’s performance to include classical pieces, they probably won’t need backing tracks. If the violinist’s performance includes pop songs or other styles, they may be able to provide backing tracks to fill out their performance. They’ll often perform the melody line of popular tunes, alongside pre-prepared backing tracks (think: ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran, or ‘Skyfall’ by Adele - these songs sound great played on violin!).
