Lizzie hired Duo Rose for a Wedding (available in Bangor)

"We were absolutely blown away by Duo Rose. From the moment we started planning, Rebecca was so helpful, friendly, and responsive — nothing was ever too much trouble. On the day itself, Jules and Alison were just incredible. Their playing was so beautiful, it genuinely brought tears to our eyes (and our guests’!). The music created such a magical atmosphere — from the ceremony to the drinks reception, it was everything we hoped for and more. There was a last-minute timing hiccup during the ceremony (my walk down the aisle was much shorter than expected!), so the song I’d chosen didn’t have time to play. But Jules and Alison adapted so seamlessly, playing it instead while we signed the register — a moment we got to enjoy together, as husband and wife. It honestly meant the world. Having a live string duo made the day feel so special, and we’ll always be grateful for their talent, professionalism, and warmth. Thank you for being such a perfect part of our wedding — we’ll never forget it."

Can any classical duo play my favourite song?
Professional classical duos will often take requests, but you will need to give them plenty of notice. Please also keep in mind that classical duos may ask for an small additional fee to prepare songs that aren't already on their song list. You can view the classical duo's song list on their Encore profile.
How much time do classical duos take to set up?
Your classical duo will usually arrive about an hour or so before their performance begins to set up and get settled before they start playing. To avoid any delays, make sure the performance space is ready for the classical duo prior to their arrival.
My venue has asked for the performer’s PLI & PAT inspection certificates. What are these?
PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our classical duos are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our classical duos will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
