"Michael was amazing during our wedding day. He arrived early and entertained the first guests to arrive, then played beautifully during our key moments during the ceremony. All the guests thought he was a great feature of the day. I would thoroughly recommend."
Chris hired Michael Sullivan for a Wedding (available in West Sussex)

"Beautifully played. Made the whole event incredible really special. So magical having a live performance and so much better than just a speaker. Made the ceremony very emotional and really made it very special for both of us. The requested songs were played flawlessly. He blended in so well and very professionally throughout. Thank you so much Michael for your musical talents. "
Holly hired Michael Sullivan for a Wedding (available in West Sussex)

"We hired Inna to play at our wedding this weekend - she played before the bride arrived, during the ceremony, and during the drinks reception. She played an amazing range of songs, and all of them so beautifully ! We chose songs for each of our guests that we knew they would love, and it was such a special touch to celebrate everyone we love in this way! Communication with Inna in advance was fantastic - she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect (including driving quite a way to get to us!). It was an honour, a privilege, and a joy to have her share in the day. Our guests have all commented on what a wonderful part of the day she was, in particular when she played our "odd choice" request song (The Rains of Castermere - if you know, you know). And played so beautifully that the guests all applauded ! She has also been kind enough to send a video of her playing the request song to us so we can always remember it. I couldn't recommend Inna enough, as I said, a joy to meet her and have her there 🩷"

FAQs about hiring Wedding Violinists in West Sussex
Take the stress out of hiring musicians with Encore
What kind of music can a violinist play?
Pretty much anything! Violinists will usually be most comfortable playing classical music, but that doesn't mean they won't be able whip up fresh renditions of your favourite pop, folk, or jazz tunes. Best to check first before asking them to play krautrock though.
Will I need to provide the violinist with any equipment?
Other than a seat for breaks, probably not. If your venue is small, they will likely play unamplified. All they'll need to make the music happen is their violin, a bow, and a receptive audience (oh, and probably a music stand). If your venue is larger, they should be able to provide amplification.
Do violinists normally play with backing tracks?
It depends. If you only want the violinist’s performance to include classical pieces, they probably won’t need backing tracks. If the violinist’s performance includes pop songs or other styles, they may be able to provide backing tracks to fill out their performance. They’ll often perform the melody line of popular tunes, alongside pre-prepared backing tracks (think: ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran, or ‘Skyfall’ by Adele - these songs sound great played on violin!).
